Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information NodPulse ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, dashboard, and the origin-cloaking and traffic-cleaning service (the "Service").
Information you give us
- Account information: your email address and a password (stored only as a salted hash).
- Service configuration: the domains you add and the origin server address you ask us to protect.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we keep only a Stripe customer reference and your plan and billing status.
- Support messages: anything you send us by email or contact form.
Information we collect automatically
- Operational logs: limited metadata needed to run and secure the Service, such as connection times, the identity of your origin agent, and error and abuse signals. We log admission decisions by account and client IP, never your capability tokens.
- Website analytics: our marketing site aims to minimize tracking; we do not load third-party advertising trackers on it.
Your visitors' traffic
When the Service carries traffic between your visitors and your origin, that traffic is folded (encrypted) end to end between the NodPulse gateway and your origin agent. Our relays are blind: they switch streams without holding the key to read the content and do not inspect, store, or sell the contents of your traffic. We do not build advertising profiles from your traffic. You are the controller of your visitors' data; we process it only to deliver the Service to you.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To issue and renew certificates and capability tokens for the domains you connect.
- To bill you, prevent abuse and fraud, and provide support.
- To send you service and account messages (for example, a welcome message and important notices).
- To comply with legal obligations.
Who we share with
We share information only with service providers who help us run NodPulse, under appropriate confidentiality terms. These include Stripe (payments), our hosting and email providers, and the North South Industries infrastructure that underlies NodPulse. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of NodPulse, our customers, or the public.
Data retention
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Operational logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting and then removed or aggregated. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information after a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, offline-verifiable capability tokens, a blind-relay design, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your own credentials and systems safe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email support@nodpulse.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.
International users
NodPulse is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the US, you understand that your information may be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
